Kindergarten students broadened their learning with a guided drawing lesson on rocket ships. This artwork builds on the space unit they are learning about with Morah Yaffa. There was much excitement in the air as they drew their rockets, planets and stars!

We also used magical liquid watercolour paint for this project along with oil pastels to create a painting with bright colours and a watercolour resist technique. It was wonderful to hear them voice their learning as they discovered that the paint was repelled by the oil.
